The prime objective of establishing Lhodak Seykhar Culture and Welfare Society is to preserve the centuries-old Buddhist tradition passed down by the great master Marpa Lotsawa and Jetsun Mela Repa by extending support and patronage to the existing Sey monastery in Bhutan. Our initiative also includes preserving those invaluable arts such as opera dances, and folk songs originated in the Sey, Tibet by celebrating annual Seykardo festival in exile.
